POSITION TITLE:          2nd Shift Production Lead

REPORTS TO:                  Production Supervisor

HOURS:                              4:00 PM- 2:00 AM Mo. to Thu

RATE:                                  $13.00 – $18.25 (+$1 shift differential)


Lead person should understand, accept and support the vision of the company.  This person should develop a sense of responsibility among their team members, operate with enthusiasm and lead by example.  They will make certain their own assigned tasks are completed satisfactorily and to standards that are set for the team.  Additionally, they will ensure that team member tasks are understood, monitored & accomplished.  Lean tools, methods and philosophy will be learned, utilized & embraced. Communication will be given and received freely, frequently, consistently, accurately and professionally. The priorities of safety 1st, quality 2nd, & production 3rd will be accepted & required.  The person in this position will act, behave, perform and “BE” what is expected from the team members.

  • Willing and able to use general shop tools
  • Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing as required
  • Understand boundaries of the position
  • Demonstrates ability to accept constructive criticism and adjust accordingly
  • Outstanding attendance and reliability to complete assigned tasks


Leadership experience, experience working in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of ISO/AS Quality System.

Due to the standards of work in the aerospace and transportation industries, pre-employment drug screening is mandatory and random drug and alcohol screenings are done on a regular basis.
